I ran downstairs into the living room, my heart pounding as I found all my brothers gathered around Nefeli. Her eyes were frantic, scanning the room, desperately searching for me. The scream that bastard had let out earlier must have reached her... The moment our eyes met, she practically threw herself at me, wrapping her arms around me so tightly I could barely breathe. I stood frozen for a moment, unsure of what to do. I hugged her back anyway... Even though I had no idea what was going on. "Thank God you're safe" she murmured in my ear, her voice trembling, leaving me even more confused. I glanced at my brothers. They all looked just as lost as I was. Except for Aiden and Alex. The family's mother seemingly ran away 8 months before the triplets were born. Though their family missed her after searching for a year they gave up and realized that she did not want to be found never knowing about the triplets. She had the triplets and gave them away to a kind man and his wife at 6 their father died and their adoptive mother started to bring her boyfriends around. These boyfriends helped their mother become a drug addict and they started the abuse to the young kids. The kids moved around a lot growing up living wherever their mother's boyfriend was living and later with their step-father where the abuse got worse when they were 10 years old. Throughout their lives, the three were abused and tortured in every way. When the triplets are 15 their mother and step-father are killed leaving the triplets alone and after a DNA test by social services, they get sent to their father and brothers meeting them for the first time.
