Dave Strider, the cool, ironic, kid with shades, has to help guide one of the new kids in school but it turns out to be an old friend. Karkat Vantas, the cute, crabby asshole has signed up for human school and is getting a 'guide' or whatever to help him get used to school. Well look who it turns out to be; Dave Strider. Sburb, a human owned company..and Sgrub, a troll owned company. What happens when these two rival companies both have an employee do snooping on the other without getting caught? Maybe accidentally fall in love? Well, we will see what happens when Dave and Karkat are put up for this job. Homestuck and its characters belong to Andrew Hussie. (And another story for the ESS tradition since it was a tie in the vote! Hope to enjoy! )

Karkat Vantas is kind of just, well, a normal troll, I guess. He moves back to his hometown to try and get his life in check a bit, not expecting to make all of the friends he does on the way, as well as love interests. His life seems to get a lot better after he meets a certain shade wearing blonde named Dave Strider. The two quickly became good friends, both denying their obvious feelings towards one another, and just as they were starting to sort them out together, things just go down hill. In this AU, all of the trolls also live on Earth, and there's no SBURB. The ships is this are Davekat, Rosemary, Dirkjake, slight Erisol and Arasol, Gamtav, as well as a little bit of Vrisrezi, Davejohn, and Davejade I try to write more whenever I can! (Sorry for any grammar mistakes anywhere. This is my first story)
