Aurora and Cairo have been best friends since they banded together and pushed the kid that made fun of their unusual names in the sandbox. That was in kindergarten, so how did such a strong platonic bond between boy and girl manage to last ten years? More importantly, how did it remain platonic?
The answer is simple: no jealousy, no doubts, no fighting - well, verbal fighting - and most importanly, no romance.
That's right, Rory and Cai have been together almost every day of every month of every year for the past ten years, spent countless nights together, and still managed to keep their friendship strictly platonic.
So, naturally, the beginning of the eleventh year brings with it no forseeable change. Rory beats the boys at everything, Cairo plays the girls, and they wake up beside each other every second morning like they did when they were six - innocently.
But how long will these feelings last when Cairo begins to slip away from Rory, little by little, and into the plastic claws of the school's Queen Bee heartbreaker despite that she so obviously disgusts him? As Rory tries to balance her newly introduced and totally unexpected love life with protecting her best friend's self-destructive heart, she begins to realise it's tearing hers in two opposite directions. The thoughts she voices adamantly state that she's protecting Cairo from himself and Barbie's plastic plot of destruction because it's her job to look out for him - the guy who's been the centre of her life for over a decade. But the other side that gradually grows from a tiny whisper to a full blown shriek seems to think her actions are fuelled by seperate motives entirely...

"I'm Aiden," he said then held out his hand. "Yeah.. I.. I remembered.. Aiden. You're Nate's best friend slash brother." "Oh, you don't prefer handshakes? Hugs, kisses?" he asked. "What?" I asked. "Nevermind. So.. who do you like at the moment?" "What?" "Just answer the question, Charlotte." "Uh.. why do you wanna know?" I ask him. "Alright.. since that made you feel uncomfortable.. do you have a boyfriend?" "Um.. that made me feel more uncomfortable, Aiden.." I told him. "Sorry, but I wanted to know before I got to know you a little. I don't want any competition. Because you're a really pretty girl, you know that, Char?" he said to me. That made me blushed a little. "Um.. no. I don't have a boyfriend..." I answered. *We start off with Charlotte Ridgeway, age 17. Her twin, Charlie Ridgeway, age 17 as well. Duh, because they're twins. They're both in high school, obviously. They don't really look alike, I mean they do, but they aren't like, identical, different genders, you know.. Anyways, Charlotte switched schools because her family had to move, so now she is known as the new girl, same goes for Charlie, the new guy. Charlotte meets this really nice guy, Nate. Nate has this best friend who is the biggest jerk in school, school's player, bad boy, Aiden Throns. Nate tells Aiden that he really likes Charlotte. Aiden and Nate are like brothers, I mean, Nate was adopted by Aiden's parents, so Aiden cares about him, like he is his biological brother. Aiden thinks that Charlotte is using Nate for his brain, because Nate is a super smart guy, knowing Charlotte, she had a brain tumor, so she isn't the brightest/smartest. Aiden will do anything for Nate, so he decides that he is going to make Charlotte fall in love with him. Does he accomplish that? Will she fall in love with him, the bad boy? Read to find out!* Credits are mines. PG-13!!!

Perfectly Broken (We're Just Sex Friends) "AHHH!" I gasped, feeling his manhood suddenly thrust into me. It took me by surprise which pleased Ryan tremendously, his hips moving more brutally. He leaned down, his breath over my lips hesitantly before pulling away, probably remembering the deal. No kissing on the lips. Kissing meant that we had feelings for one another and the guy that was making my body jolt with pleasure was the man I've hated since the first day of school. Instead, he kissed my neck, moving his hips harder at the displeasure of me not being Chelsea who he wanted to kiss. I wanted Alec inside me, closing my eyes imagining it was him kissing my shoulder and pulling me up on him. Instead, it was Ryan. ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ Emma Thorne has been stricken with heartache over her unrequited love for her best friend, Alec Romano, since childhood. "Do you know how hard it is for me knowing that you're with someone else?" Tyler asked, staring at me intensely. "You think this is easy for me?" I asked, trying to hold back my tears. "I didn't say it was -" he began, but I cut him off. "It's not. I have to go around hating myself. Hating myself for thinking about you. Hating myself for wanting you. I just want to stop feeling this way." I stepped closer to him as my voice shook with every word. "I want to forget about you, but I just--." The rest of my sentence was cut short as Tyler took the final step, closing the gap between us and brought his lips to mine. ~~~~~~~~ Tyler is back from college to find out that the girl who once held his heart has a new boyfriend.
