Fifteen year old Aine Corcoran doesn't get guys. They just confuse her. In fact, her theory is that they're all aliens who secretly came to earth from a distant planet. So she tries to keep her distance from them. 
       Unfortunately, she might not like them very much, but they seem to be extremely fond of her. But just when Aine thinks she has a handle on the situation, her childhood friend (who, by the way, is suddenly a lot better looking than he was before) declares his sudden devotion to her. Add some embarrassing moments, a song dedication and a self proclaimed bad boy who just won't leave Aine alone and you've got the recipe for a nightmare summer.
