Eden is a hardworking junior high student who always receives top marks, though hardly ever smiles and doesn't have many friends. After becoming head of the school committee, she meets Oscar, a guy with a frightful air who bears various rumours behind his back. But upon becoming his acquaintance, she learns that they are similar in many ways and soon acquires naive but true feelings for him, although inevitably, over time, people change and Eden learns that life is more complicated than she thought.
