The coffin lay awkwardly on the dusty wooden walls of the attic. It was about midnight and a lone ray of the moon's light penetrated the decrepit circular window. The coffin had been placed so that it faced the window, probably so that during the day the light shone right onto it, this was suppose to keep in whatever slumbered inside it. The coffin was made out of oak wood, and rusty nails had been hammered on the edges to hold the lid in place. Although dust had capped the coffin over the years, you could notice a small metal emblem stuck in the upper part of the coffin. And as you approached it you could slowly make out the dark winged creature sculpted by the metal...

"There once was a girl barely anyone knew about. Every night, she would go from dorm to dorm, visiting every sleeping student. She wouldn't enter their rooms to hurt them, though. The only thing she would do is search through their trash cans, pick up a piece of trash and leave again. But if the student she is visiting isn't sleeping and she notices, he won't be able to move at all for some reason. It's like magic! "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?"
