This was the last straw. I could no longer allow myself to be in the hands of this monster, whether I loved him or not. Truly, I do not believe I really know what love is.
What I do know is that if you love something, let it go, and if it loves you too it will come back. In this case, all I could do was hope that wasn’t true. So after everything I’ve put up with before, I did the only thing I knew how.
