The Lights That Guide Us

Carson is separated from her best friend when her grandmother is diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer, and she is forced to move to The-Middle-Of-Nowhere, Ohio to take care of her, far, far away from the suburb outside of LA where she grew up. Conrad is struggling, mentally and financially, after the death of his well-meaning, but irresponsible parents. As his sister is deteriorating and the bills are pilling up, he is granted a miracle--the main roll in a series of book-to-film adaptations with a huge following. How will the miles between them and Conrad being thrusted into the public eye effect Carson and Conrad's friendship?
