It all started with the establishment of the Atheist Party. They took over the world through politics and banned history and art. Their belief was that all religion must be wiped out if the human race can be able to evolve, and they have started with a mass genocide of Christians. All around the world, about 75 of our Christian brothers and sisters are martyred for Jesus Christ at the end of every day, but there is hope. Camp Byzantine, a Christian resistance movement that protests against the Government, is a haven for the persecuted of any religion, and the anchor of my hope. Who am I? I am Tamar Redwood, a Hidden Christian along with my sister, Esther, and our Guide, David James. Our parents, Decorah and John, were martyred for our faith, and what happened that week and the following weeks are imprinted within my mind. This is my story. A/N: This is a short story I wrote for a school dystopia project. If you are offended by anything in this book... Why are you reading it in the first place? Go outside or I don't know, read another book? If you have any questions about my faith and religion, don't hesitate to message me with them.
