Jasper Agnew suddenly dies in a 'car crash' on his 21st birthday leaving his 18 year old sister, Sephira, without any family. Emersed in her grief, Sephira finds it hard to talk to anyone, even her brother's girlfriend Cassie of four years. However after his funeral Cassie finds the strength to look past her feelings and tries to move on with her life, which will soon prove to be alot harder than she originally thought. Throughout the days following Jasper's funeral she finds herself seeing alot of a certain tall, dark-haired stranger and she soon becomes imersed in a mystery she never could have imagined surrounding her family, as well as learning the real truth about her parents death as well as the rest of her relatives.
