It was a morning as ordinary as the usual ones, but the day, in fact was a special one. I had been waiting for it since the last year, but yet it seemed to have taken more than a year for the day to finally arrive. It was my birthday.
I was as energetic as a toddler that morning, it felt as if I had current running through my veins instead of blood. Waking up before my alarm went off, or should I say that I never slept that night. I was wide awake the whole night because of the burning excitement in me for the day to come.
I was going to turn eight and thought that my life or rather I was about to change; turn over a new leaf or something else, I wasn’t sure of it yet. But whatever I thought wasn’t meant to be as ghastly as it all turned out to be.
My eighth birthday the day I was exposed to the true self of this world
The day I found out about myself; a human being who had the blood of a demon running through her veins.
The day that hauled me out of the illusion of heaven and brought me to reality of hell.

"Kill..." the low whispering voice trailed off into my head. I don't think the strange whispering voice came from anyone in the room. It was too loud; too abnormel; too deadly.
