Whilst learning more about my culture this school year, I wrote a folklore inspired by a Haitian proverb. Now I plan to do the same with many others. I hope that reading these stories will help you to understand the culture of Haiti rather then focusing on the country's tribulations. Although these aren't authentic Haitian folklore from the early beginnings of the country, I'd like to think that these are a close second, maybe even one in the same.Tous Droits Réservés

(Completed) Earlier this year, a pandemic crippled the world... December 1 The earthquake hit. December 3 The waters came and the flood overpowered us. My younger brother and sister cry for our parents on the other side of the world. The only consolation I have is "Christmas is coming." My younger sister asked me how we could celebrate Christmas with nothing. I had no answer except, "We'll find a way." *** 2020 brought many unexpected things. The unexpected bad and the unexpected good. With the year coming to a close, I want to dedicate this story to the front-liners, to those living away from family, to the Filipinos affected by the recent typhoons and flood, and to my grandparents who have survived through so much and thrived through it all. Christmas time is the time to be reminded of HOPE, the hope that comes in Jesus' promised birth and life to live, PEACE, the peace that comes from the Prince of Peace alone, JOY, the joy that comes from a fresh start, a new beginning and the birth of a baby (Luke 2:5-7) and LOVE, the love that sent a King down on earth to be a baby so that He could experience life before He'd give His life for us so that we could live with Him (John 3:16) (Not edited. This is gonna be my first book so I hope you enjoy. There is a young man name (Y/N) (L/N), was a normal man who's enjoyed his time and life, he live in his home all alone while his parents is off in vacation, he's a music artist who can make music for everyone enjoy his song, but deep inside, he felt lonely, doesn't have a girlfriend, but he will manage, on the next day when he was out to go store get something to eat. He fell. Someone is watching him but he'll think this is nothing but when he was out at the store, he found a weird Portal on his house, he doesn't know where it came from but when he was about to call someone on the phone, suddenly a photo suck him into the portal and he land in the ground hard in pain. But when he was about to get up, he looked around and saw everything around him is red he saw Demons, tall buildings, and pentagrams start up the sky and tell he realize he's in hell but he doesn't know how to get back. Until. He saw a commercial about the hotel that well redeemed sinners he going to the hotel and he saw a girl who named Charlie MorningStar, and the other girl name Vaggie. He told him about what happened and how he got here and they feel sorry for him and return day well let him stay in the hotel and tell they figure out what to do, but what he didn't know that Charlie and Vaggie and the other girls, are responsible of the portal in his house and now they're now have him and they are so obsessed with him that they were never let him leave. Well, he ever escaped. Let's find out. The characters from Hazbin and Helluva boss is belong to Vivziepop i will maybe add videos, image, gif, etc in this book, some all the stuff I put in this book doesn't belong to me is belong to the artists. Also, there will be a grammar and I probably don't know if I could continue this story but I will promise.

My collection of poems in the past three years which leads to character development. Realistic incidents, illusionary love, hardships, it's quite a journey. Some say I'm unique and some say I'm Raw. Some say my work is relatable and some feel they can relate. That's crazy though, makes me want to be heard. I was quiet as feathers basically my whole life, closed up, antisocial, lost. Until I started writing. Although, I didn't open my mouth, I was even louder than before. Excuse me, I am louder!

Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license. But like my best friend used to say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught" and I never did, so now I just chat up with them to pass some time or to help someone. When I heard of a singing competition I thought it couldn't hurt. I mean I might be able to win a nice prize and get some more publicity for my music, which was more important to me then some cash prize but it would be nice.

Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around...
