Whilst learning more about my culture this school year, I wrote a folklore inspired by a Haitian proverb. Now I plan to do the same with many others. I hope that reading these stories will help you to understand the culture of Haiti rather then focusing on the country's tribulations. Although these aren't authentic Haitian folklore from the early beginnings of the country, I'd like to think that these are a close second, maybe even one in the same.

"No... your not" ⚠ New writer here! ⚠ [Started: November 3, 2024] [Ends on: Will see'] Small note and big at the same time... ⛇☃ First off, this makes me really, really excited! 😍 My first published story, but it's not the first one I've done. The first one I dare say I consider the jewel in my crown of stories is my "OUTERBANKS SEASON 4" Yep! And don't worry, it has nothing to do with the treasure that ultimately led to JJ's death. This treasure for my own season is one I'm creating from scratch, since I'm basing it on historical factors. The beginning will be the same as the beginning of the 4th season but I'll change everything in the first chapter. Spoiler, Kie won't even be JJ's girlfriend anymore, Jade, my main character girl, was a big blow to him. That's what hurts me... but hey, JJ won't die. We can't have everything in life. Twisted Love
[Started Writing : 3rd August, 2023] "For fuck sake, leave me alone." I screamed out as tears commenced gathering in my eyes. He said nothing. He just sat there watching me lose my temper. "Answer me." I growled shooting daggers on his way with my eyes. "Be my girlfriend. You will get everything you lost." "I don't want to be." "You have no choice." Anastasia wants nothing but to get out of the hell hole called 'her life'. They say study hard and then you can earn money and have a good life. But despite having a degree in hands she was still jobless. When life was giving her bitter test then when a devil showed up at the door of her heart, dressed like an angel. The devil wants nothing but a favour from her while promising her everything she wants. Morally grey. That's the definition to construe Alex Vesper. Strict, rude, emotionless, focused and evil. He wants nothing but revenge from a certain someone who might have scratched his ego a little bit. And at that time Anastasia was the best option for him.

This is my original story but there are some similarities to her's, so please go show her stories some love because she definitely deserves it. Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license. But like my best friend used to say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught" and I never did, so now I just chat up with them to pass some time or to help someone. When I heard of a singing competition I thought it couldn't hurt. I mean I might be able to win a nice prize and get some more publicity for my music, which was more important to me then some cash prize but it would be nice.Complete

I love the beginnings of stories. Whether it be a book or a movie, I enjoy the opening scenes the most. Because they hold all the promises of what is to come; unburdened by commitment or baggage. Beginnings are full of hope. This story is an exception. Because the beginning of it is a sad one. It's the ending, however, that makes this story worthwhile. Finding Christmas
(Completed) Earlier this year, a pandemic crippled the world... December 1 The earthquake hit. December 3 The waters came and the flood overpowered us. My younger brother and sister cry for our parents on the other side of the world. The only consolation I have is "Christmas is coming." My younger sister asked me how we could celebrate Christmas with nothing. I had no answer except, "We'll find a way." *** 2020 brought many unexpected things. The unexpected bad and the unexpected good. With the year coming to a close, I want to dedicate this story to the front-liners, to those living away from family, to the Filipinos affected by the recent typhoons and flood, and to my grandparents who have survived through so much and thrived through it all. Christmas time is the time to be reminded of HOPE, the hope that comes in Jesus' promised birth and life to live, PEACE, the peace that comes from the Prince of Peace alone, JOY, the joy that comes from a fresh start, a new beginning and the birth of a baby (Luke 2:5-7) and LOVE, the love that sent a King down on earth to be a baby so that He could experience life before He'd give His life for us so that we could live with Him (John 3:16) (Not edited. Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although.
