They are a race apart from most, they are unlike shifters who have two sides, they are unlike the mer or vampires who live in secrecy and hiding. They are fae, however they are not the fairies that you imagine with sparkling wings and beautiful faces who are sweet and comforting, they do exists but that is not what we are. They are the dark fae, the pixies if you will. Their lives mean the misery of all who are near them. They bring bad luck and they are not the pretty creatures their winged counterparts are, Their image is the spark of many nightmares and horror legends.
Well, at least that is what the universe is lead to believe. All the dark fae want is to live in peace away from human kind. What they are given is large hunting parties hired to hunt down and murder any dark fae. This is the story of my sister and how we were torn to shreds by miss guided hatred, though I suppose the fact that like vampires we must consume humans to survive could be the cause of the hatred...
