Making The Best Of Life

12 year old Payton Carter lives with her aunt who is always at work. Payton attends a middle school and is starting 7th grade. She dreads this because of the constant bullying. She is a main victim because she has glasses, braces,red hair, and freckles. To top this off she hasn't spoken a single word since she was 3 years old. She believes life will get better, that one day she will be with her dead parents but sometimes there can be too much to wish for.
