This story is about an 14 year old boy and a 13 year old girl who are trapped together on earth because the people on earth had fled to a different planet. The reason they had fled was because zombies had invaded the earth throw large tunnels they had been building for many years. They had finely escaped from under ground.

The town of Hibbing, MN is under siege. But by an unlikely enemy. Genetically mutated humans, brought into the world by a mishap in the M.W.A.S (Mid West Association of Science), the science station within Hibbing's walls. An attempt to make a genetically modified human for military purposes, which would make them stronger, faster, more intelligent. But everything goes horribly wrong when there is a break in, and the 'perfect human formula' is unintentionally tested before it is ready. The result, is a nightmare of a human. A zombie. After killing all the scientists, it escapes into the city, throwing the large town in to full-blown apocalypse.
