Katniss Everdeen is finally getting her Happily Ever After, or so it seems.
She has been divorced for nearly 6 years, but has been happily remarried for the past 3. She is no longer known as Katniss Everdeen, she is now Katniss Mellark.
Things are going great for Katniss, Peeta, and their two kids. Elijah Hawthorne who is now 11. Libbie Mellark who is now 14. And possibly a new addition to the family.
But things never seem to stay normal for long. With all good, there is some bad.
When the school decides to cut the art programs, Katniss feels as though she is being thrown right back into the situation that caused her so much pain before, and what she has feared the most.
But when something happens, that becomes the least of her worries as she is in a battle for her life, leaning on the friends and family closest to her.
Will the everlasting pain and terror ever end? Or will it just become numb?
