By now her fur stood on end but Flamestar looked terrifyingly calm. "I suppose, but the way I see it there should only be one clan not two. How ridiculous our ancestors decided it." Flamestar said with a curious tone. "I shall make this short before we depart young warrior - I'd watch my back from now on if I were you." the orange she-cat said thoughtfully. Timberheart leapt off the boulder "Is that a threat?!" he growled. Flamestar thought her words over "Maybe. Lakeclan to me!" she yowled before either of them had time to respond. Then an evil Wraith took James' life and Dahlia's reason for living away along with her capacity to love. The Wendigo found Dahlia in the twisted metal heap that used to be their car, just moments before her soul left her body. He fed his blood to Dahlia and brought her back to his home against her will. Dahlia should have died that day for more reason than one. But for some reason she was getting healthier by the day. Why is she alive? How could she live without her consort James? How was she going to raise their child without her ability to love? Why did the Wendigo save her? Why does he call Dahlia his consort? Most importantly...why does Dahlia want to believe him?
