Vivian Oxenford has been through hell and back. Just a few months shy of graduation, her world is turned upside down when both of her parents are murdered.
After surviving a bullet to the chest, Vivian is alive and well, but struggling with the loss of her parents. Strangely vivid night terrors begin a few months after the accident when she is sent to live with her aunt on the opposite side of town. Every night, faceless shadows murder her and those that she loves. Vivian begins to wonder if these night terrors are a side effect of cheating death, or if they're foreshadowing what's to come.
