When Dan and Phil are trying to figure out how to come out to their friends and fans, they get a surprise visit from Phil's mom bearing terrible news. Then, they get a phone call from Chris which turns out being one of the worst phone calls they've ever gotten. It takes its effect on Phil which leaves Dan having to take care of him more and more.
