The problem with loving Eli

I can still remember the day, the image of my home planet, and all the people on it are still etched into my brain. I can see it as clearly as if it just happened yesterday. I remember how I was dragged away from my family and hurt and taken to earth. The way I cried and screamed until my throat was ragged and I was drained of energy so much to the point where I passed out from exhaustion. But then again every time I think of that day I smile, because I remember him, the defender of man.....the offering.Eli.
