They were split apart as children. Reunited by force. Bound by secrets no one dares to name. At seven, Elisha was dropped into the foster care system, cold beds, colder hands, cut off from her twin sister and older brothers without explanation. Aurora stayed behind, raised by a mother who sold her body and a stepfather who promised to come back and never did. Eight years pass. The brothers return, dragging both girls into a home that barely feels like theirs. But this isn't a reunion, it's a collision. Elisha hides her trauma behind silence and sharpened edges, a hidden fire in her. Aurora masks hers with perfection, hunger, and a constant need to be chosen. Neither of them talks about the past. Neither of them knows how. Love simmers in forbidden places. Truths unravel in dangerous ways. And while the family tries to rebuild, they do so blindly, each of them hiding pieces of the story that might save the others, or destroy them. This isn't about healing. It's about surviving what no one else sees and what happens when survival isn't enough. Until everyone perishes. *Includes a good amount of smut. (MAJOR PLOT TWISTS) *************************************************** * MAJOR TRIGGER WARNING. * Rape.Abuse.Suicide.Death.Violence.Psychotic. Killing. Obsession. The Fade
"Can you not see what's going on around us? People are disappearing without any warning. Is that funny to you? Does it not worry you at all that you could be next? Does it not scare you that you could wake up tomorrow, and I could just be gone? Because it scares me. A lot." *** Widespread unexplainable disappearances prompt a group of teenagers to leave their empty homes in search of the source of The Fade. Will they find an answer and a way to stop the disappearances, or will they too succumb to The Fade? *** Inspired by a series of spectacularly weird dreams. *** "This story gives me a reason to smile even on the worst days." ~@smallestpenguin *** First update: 5/25/18 Final update: 7/19/19Dokončeno
Family Comes First
Being alone? Check. Being afraid? Check. Being abused? Check times 3. Honestly, my life wasn't this bad before, not until I ended in foster care... SIKE! My life was always bad. From the moment I was born, I lived with an abusive father who blamed me for my mother's death, and even I couldn't disagree with him. Here are a few questions I am constantly asked: 'Do I do well in school?' No, are you kidding me? The only subject I'm good at is Visual Arts. 'Do I have a kind and caring family?' No, I don't think I do. 'Do I have anyone who cares about me?' No, I'm a loner and socially awkward. 'Do I have privileges?' No, if you haven't understood the message yet, I live in an abusive household. Now, you might ask if there are any questions the answer is yes. I'll give you some. 'Do I want to die?' Yes, I sometimes do. 'Do I feel alone in this world?' Yes, always. 'Do I get a beating every day?' Yes. *** This is Amara Williams, a 13 year-old with average grades and no friends. What happens when her only guardian, her dad, is dead? What happens when she finds out that she has five older brothers who are not only strict and demanding, but also protective assholes? More importantly, what happens when she finds out that she was taught lies from the moment she was born? Follow Amara as she digs deeper into her family history, uncovering the secrets and discovering the lies. ___ ⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️ There will be mentions of abuse, r@pe, self harm, death, and many other dark themes. I have given a warning now, and I will give a TW in each chapter when reading for safety reasons. However, I want all of my readers to know what to expect so that they can decided for themselves if they want to read. The Wishing Well
Careful what you wish for... Wishes can come true. They always do at this wishing well. But in what form are they granted? And can you afford to make the wrong wish? The town understands the well. They know its history. They've been waiting, the lot of them, waiting for someone who doesn't know how it all works--that many wishes have been granted but some not as happily as others. For the well grants wishes in one of three forms: perfectly, oddly, or tragically. No one wants the third. For years the well has been waiting, waiting for its next coin, that next wish and the townspeople are only too happy to pass the outcome on to someone outside their circle, starting the cycle fresh. Everyone wants their turn at a perfect wish. When Olivia arrives new in town, she's the perfect target. The well has been calling her. How far will the town go to get her to make a wish?Dokončeno
Runners
They balance each-other out. One the calm, the other the storm. Except when they don't. Except when she loses it and makes the place burn...literally. Who knew a burnt building would lead to three lost brothers across the country and a big ass house...after being on the run for almost a year. The twins are in for a crazy ride, but they're in it together. Always. Pinky promise. Will it be enough? TW: abuse, SA, r*pe, and mature language/scenes. The Journey The Only Survivors
The worldwide disappearance of all living creatures, after the catastrophic storm, brings Kyara to the brink of despair as she and her siblings go on a miraculous journey through time. Everything changes the day of the storm. Time is lost. People are taken. And an unnatural silence settles over the land. Kyara and her three siblings seem to wake up to a normal life, but what is normal can never be normal again after that night's storm. Not when everyone in the world disappears, except Kyara and her three siblings, the only ones left in the sacred world. As they try to find out why everyone disappeared, they come across a time machine disguised in a cell phone. They travel first to the time when Jesus is born, in hope that they can find help from Him. But in each time after, they not only become vulnerable, but they also almost give up hope; for they lose the phone in every era they visit. While they journey through time, they learn about history, and how they can change it; they learn about faith, and how they can strengthen it; and they especially learn about love, and how they can protect it. The Journey The Only Survivors, by A.M. Parrish, is a captivating story that everyone, not only Christians, can learn what it is to live by faith and live with love. This is a published book out in several different stores. It is in Barnes N Noble, Amazon.com, and Apple books, etc. This is the first to a trilogy. The second one is also published and is called The Journey The Malevolent Curse. NOTE: Though this may seem like a Christian and faith book, it is actually not. This is a trilogy and the third, when it is published, will explain the entire story! So get excited!Dokončeno
Their Treasure
Alessandra had always been in the dark about her family. Her mother made sure of it. She never told her anything about her father, her mysterious job, or the fact that she had six brothers. Six mysterious, wealthy, and dangerous brothers. One day, they came to her life, trying to take her home. But an unforeseen tragedy happened, causing her to be far from their reach. She was left with a man who claimed to be her uncle that wanted to take her in. But unfortunately, he is not a 'family' he claimed himself to be. So, she has to survive. Until fate brought her to meet them again. **The following story contains things which some readers may find distressing. Such as curse words, as well as violence / abuse and suicide (I'd put TW for this one) in future chapters Start: July 12, 2020Dokončeno
