car·pe di·em /ˌkärpā ˈdēˌem/ exclamation: carpe diem used to urge someone to make the most of the present time and give little thought to the future. Bexley was born into a family of wealth. But on the outside, she was the complete opposite of the wealthy facade her parents raised her to withhold. Although she was born into the wealth, she wanted absolutely nothing to do with the lifestyle. Her beliefs were far from those of her parents and the rest of her family, therefore causing problems within the relationships in her home. Her parents did not approve of her outgoing, rebellious personality. But the truth is, she just always wanted to have fun, and life her life to the fullest before it was too late. Weston, on the other hand, was the complete opposite of Bexley. He was tall and attractive, but so used to being alone. He had friends, sure. But not the "friends" he wished he had growing up. Except for Craig, his best friend in the entire world. He was raised in a low-income home and his families hardships shaped him to be the man his father knew he'd grow up to be. But his family managed their way around, finding themselves in Oak Creek Ranch, a gated neighborhood where everyone knew everyone. Well... Not everyone. Bexley and Weston knew each other, but they didn't "know" each other. Everyone in the neighborhood knew each other. Except no one knew Bexley. She had a whole other life outside this gated community that nobody was aware of... Except for me. These two unlikely teenagers, having never "met", had one thing in common: they were both looking for more out of life. Going into their senior year of high school at Grant High School, both Bexley and Weston soon come to find out that maybe they could help each other out. "Seize the day because you never know if that moment is going to come again. I know that when I look back at my life, I will see the memories of all the adventures I didn't let pass me by." - Bexley Rose Addams

Calum Hood was the stereotypical jock in high school. He was the star of the football team and basketball team. The majority of his old classmates loved him, envied him, or wanted to be him. Now that he was at the University of Melbourne on a football scholarship, he was hoping to reach that status yet again. He wasn't going to university for the classes and academics; he was going to pursue his career in football. He wasn't a lame geek that was going to spend his weekends studying and doing boring homework that wouldn't benefit him. He wasn't going to let those nerds annoy him with their smarts either like he did in high school. Not to mention that he was a full-blooded frat boy. Classes and grades and nerds weren't about to get in his way of that. Ashton Irwin was considered a nerdy hipster. He was more into the arts and academics of things, his strong suit being English and art history. Not only that, but he had a passion for music as well. He was a talented singer that helped get him a full ride scholarship to the University of Melbourne, along with his exceptional knowledge in English. Though, he wasn't at all popular in high school. He was quite the opposite and he was okay with it. He didn't want to be popular and have his every move analyzed. It also meant that he would've had to hangout with the jocks, who he didn't like at all. Now, due to his uni class schedule, he would be free of the majority of the jocks and hopefully frat boys. They were bullies and he didn't want to have to be associated with any of them. He would make sure of that. But, despite what Ashton and Calum think, life isn't fair sometimes and you have to live with the hand you're dealt. Literally. ---- Copyright 2016 to Brianna (@1D_HarryStyles_1D)
