He's my Guardian Angel

As the lights started to flicker, I rolled off my bed. My back hit the cold, hardwood floors, I looked up. Dark entities spilled through my room. They were looking for me. All I saw in the cloud of black were whisps of red light. I tried to stay calm but the feeling of numbness crept up my legs.

"Adam, where are you," I screamed as the feeling crept into my neck.
