"No," I breathed. No, no NO! I screamed in frustration. My guardians lay at my feet before me, possibly living their last moments. They were all I had, and I was about to loose them too. Anger and frustration boiled inside me filling me with white hot ravaging energy. The all too familiar rage intensified and transformed into something new. Something that scared me as much as it did my enemies. And I unleashed it in one terrifying supernova of flames. I shut my eyes in attempt to block out the light but it barely made a difference. My ears ached, unable to bear that anguished yell that pounded against them; my anguished yell I realized with a start. I caught snatches of voices,… my name,… their tones urgent and desperate. But it was all being drowned out by: my voice; that reverberated through my body, by my power; that tore through the surrounding, and by the sound of my heartbeat; pounding faster than I ever knew was possible. And I was terrified. Terrified of myself and the power that consumed me.
***A story about an average high school teen (tomboy and nerd) who loved reading adventure novels until her life turned into one big roller-coaster of an adventure after her sixteenth birthday, and things just sort of snowballed after that...

She went to her room and locked herself inside the room. She slowly sat down and started crying, ''why does this always happen to me?" she said while putting her fingers in hairs. "I hate myself," she said, crying. Just then she got up and grabbed her sharp nail trimmer "I will end this" she said and almost cut off her vein, when she heard a very strange whisper. "Hey don't young Lady killing yourself is a sin" she turned and the nail trimmer fell off her hand. "Who is it?" she said but the voice did not come back, she looked inside the mirror she brought from her deceased relative. She watched her eyes, it was like her own reflection was looking at her, just than she felt her green eyes turning to electric blue, she got startled, then she turned and walked towards her bed, "It's like I am having hallucinations, can't die properly even " she said to herself and went to her bed. ****** She got up late in the morning; she didn't want to go to school. She turned to the other side of her bed. Still eyes closed she looked for a pillow but instead her hand touched something very hard, it was like a human arm, the manly odor was surrounding, first she thought she was dreaming, She hold him softly and hugged him. He was snoring faintly. She opened her eyes instantly, it was some unknown man on her bed and he was sleeping peacefully beside her, she narrowed her eyes to confirm it was indeed what she was seeing, she got up a bit while putting pressure over her arm. His light brown hair were fallen over his forehead, His broad chest was moving up and down as he breaths, when she realized that it was not dream, she got up and screamed. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh". In a world where darkness reigns and monsters rule, humanity's survival depends on those with power. A decade ago, the Earth fell to horrific creatures-beasts that tore apart cities and destroyed what remained of civilization. In the aftermath, society fractured into four groups, each shaped by its beliefs and the supernatural abilities that arose in response to the terror. Angels heal the wounded but at the cost of their vitality. Demons wage war on the monsters, fueled by their thirst for human blood. Rare and feared devils wield blood magic that allows them to control the essence of life itself, but they must feast on monster blood to regain their strength. And then there are the God-powered-a mysterious few who possess elemental abilities that could hold the key to ending the chaos but are believed to be little more than a myth. Emery, a quiet college student, lives in the shadows of this broken world. Though she possesses the powers of a Devil, she keeps her identity hidden, unwilling to draw attention. Her days are spent in isolation, away from the chaos, with only her books and a few trusted friends to keep her company. But when whispers of a possible God-powered emerge, Emery is thrust into a deadly race. If she can find them, the union of the Devil and God could be the world's only chance at survival. But trust is scarce, and betrayal lurks in every corner. Demons are unpredictable, Angels are slowly losing their strength, and the Devils grow increasingly detached from humanity, fueled by the monster blood they consume. As the hunt for the last hope intensifies, Emery must navigate a world of shifting allegiances, hidden agendas, and monsters that are not always what they seem. In this dystopian future, where fear and power rule, Emery will have to decide if saving the world is worth the cost of her humanity.
