When his own father attacks his mother, Caleb begins to think that the police are on to him, trying to unravel his past, thinking that they have realised what happened to cause him to try to commit suicide. However, they are just trying to build a case against his father. In desperation, Caleb tried to reach out to Dr Palmer, against the advice of his mother. As his life spirals out of control, Dr Palmer makes him realise that the only way he can carry on is to come clean and reveal his secret. In a shocking final twist, everything is revealed to be not what it seems, and Caleb finds out that he will be ok, no matter what happens to him.

I made sure to lock every window, heading back downstairs I heard a plate drop and a scream. Mom! Mom answer me! Circling into the kitchen I see my mom laid out on the floor blood gushing from her stomach. No mom I scrabbled to grab a towel and placed it hard on her wound. He choices to stay with him as he watches the numbers count down, and hopefully by the time those numbers reach 0, he will be able to stop whatever is going to kill him and save his life.
