Her dad was a drunk who left her family when she was two years old. It was difficult growing up without a father role, a good one at least. Her mom was also a shitty drunk parent as well but as for her, she stayed in Carlie's life. Carlie got neglected as a child, never was paid attention to, no one actually cared for her besides her two best friends; Emma and Sydney. She never stayed home when she was a young due to the fact that she couldn't stand her drunk mother and now she's living on her own in a nice, small house in Cali. She's normally a giggly person with an alright personality but because her childhood was fucked over practically, it caused her to put herself out to be someone she's not.

His family was normal besides the fact that his dad abandoned him at a young age and didn't give a single fuck to keep in contact with his kids. His mom was a sweetheart and tried her best to make Ashton into a good man, he was but he also had anger problems. His mom blames his dad for it because she knew as well as a lot of others that growing up without a father figure, life was bound to be hard. Ashton was the trouble maker that everyone somehow still adored.
