This was initially written in April of 2002. I had recently left the pristine professional laboratory of National Starch & Chemical and began a new career in the unorganized dirty asphalt labs of GAF Building Materials. The man of course is me..the valley is the GAF lab...the caves were the cubicles that ringed the lab where I and my coworkers sat.
