Ally Dawson, A+ student of Baxter High, has never fallen in love, nor does she believe in it. She's not a fan of boys, especially the 'bad boy' and 'player' type. It seems you could say she's an anti-boy person, and a little stereotype. Ally loves school and has excellent grades, tho her friends tease her about it she doesn't care. 
She always remembers her mom's words before she died "Don't impress anyone, but try hard and always be committed" those were her last words before she passed away. 
Austin Moon however, is the complete opposite. His grades are terrible and his attendance is disgraceful. Austin is a hunky jock with girls drooling at his feet whenever he walks past, he loves the attention tho his parents disapprove.
Being expelled from his old school, he will now begin at Baxter High.
