People see Purple , I see Gray. People see orange , I see Gray. No matter what the color or what the object. I see no color; I see no inspiration or spark. All I see is Gray. The world used to be a colorful place, filled with many arrays of color. But one day I woke up and then it went blank, and suddenly it was lifeless. My name is Miranda Jones and I see no color. That day I woke up terrified, the day I lost my sight of color. I knew somehow that it would never come back; and I was right. I’ve only told one person about my color issues. The only person I knew I could trust, my best friend Charlotte Mayes. We have practically been inseparable since we were three. When I told her she thought it was a joke, and of course it was not. But soon she realized I meant business. Ever since that day it has been our little secret. Not even my family knows.
I wrote this realistic fiction story for a writing contest. sadly I didn't win but was still proud of my work!
