He stood there, a solid human, with a face, a body, skin and everything, yet it was overwhelmingly hard to process. Students were rushing through the hall frantically, some glancing at me curiously for I was in an everlasting state of shock. My textbooks were scattered over the floor, but none of that was important right now.

He was supposed to be words on a paper, nothing but ink on a sheet. But he isn't.

It has to be him. He was just a face in my dreams, unknown and untrue. He's not supposed to be real. But somehow with that handsome grin on his face, I know that both of us are aware that he is.

And it took all of my built-up courage to utter a few words, "Oh God," I barely whisper, "Is it you?"

All he does is grin, and confirms in three words I don't think I'll ever forget.

"In the flesh."
