The Mark of Cain- Another Way
The characters Sam, Dean, Cas and Cain as well as the storyline of how Dean got the Mark of Cain is not mine, but belongs to the amazing writers from the tv show Supernatural. During the pandemic lockdown I found myself enthralled in the Supernatural story line. I often imagined different scenes unfolding or other ways for them to end. For Season 10 I imagined there being a different way for Dean to remove the mark. It required dabbling in Greek mythology, which the writers had done several times already. I Imagined: What if there was another person who had received The Mark of Cain before Dean and was able to remove it without biblical consequences? What if she held the answers Dean and Sam were looking for? My Storyline: Dean Winchester was not the first person to be given the Mark of Cain. Cain was full of secrets, some of which he shared with Dean, but several he did not. Eleven years prior a slip of a girl stood in front of Cain in need of the first blade. He could not believe that she would be worthy of the mark. A killer she was not, but she was pure. Eight years she bore the mark and for eight years she experienced hell on earth. It was said that The Mark of Cain could not be removed without unleashing the darkness, yet here she was eleven years later and no Mark of Cain. How did she do it? Could Dean be so lucky?Complete
