Suddenly, another body slammed into her, sending her things careening across the floor. And her phone― her precious phone― was falling, slipping out of her grasp and cracking on the concrete floor. One particularly heavy textbook managed to land directly on her foot, and she flinched in pain.

"What the fuck!" she snapped, her gaze immediately locking onto her assailant.

Dark (perfect) brown eyes glared right back at her, and she scowled deeply when she recognized the person standing before her.

"What the hell?" Theodore scoffed at her tone. "You're the one that ran into me."

Katya rolled her eyes, irritation coating every nerve of her being. "Well then you should have fucking moved."

His eyes widened in disbelief while stepping back so she could bend down to pick up her things. With her heart in her throat, she picked up her phone carefully, only to see that the screen was shattered.

"Jesus, it was just an accident."

Katya growled up at him, inexplicably irritated that he didn't even bother to help her with her things. Irritated that he was responsible for her damaged phone. "Yeah well, next time it would great if you didn't stand in the middle of the hall like a dipshit."

His eyebrows flew into his hairline, before furrowing together in anger. At his annoyance, everything about him seemed to tense and stiffen. "Well maybe you should watch where you're fucking going next time, Katie."

Her teeth gritted together. "It's Katya."

He thinks she's stuck up. She thinks he's a hypocrite.

When the cheerleaders of Alderidge High are forced to become "guardian angels" for the football team, head cheerleader Katya Richards, and star quarterback Theodore Rodgers don't exactly get along.

Throughout the next four years, Nolan struggles to maintain herself throughout her path of discovery, learning just how cruel teenagers can be through the pressures of underage drinking, sexuality and class. And despite how life seems to continue to work against her, she still manages to listen to her heart, falling deeper and deeper for the guy the entire town adores, even if he only sees her as a friend. "Thanks for the best day ever" I grinned looking up at him as the sky overhead darkened. "It was your six year old imagination that did this" He smiled bumping my shoulder. "I was amazing" I drawled. "You still are" he murmured quietly looking down at me. Our gazes locked and I felt my heartbeat quicken. Somewhere in the back of my mind I registered that it had begun raining but the other half, the part that was taking over, only saw him. His gaze moved to my lips and I was frozen as he slowly brought his face to mine. Call it what you will but whatever it was, took over. ~~~~ A super original story about a girl on an all boys soccer team, who only wears sweats and t-shirts, but so happens to fall in love with the team captain who happens to be so far out of her league, it's almost unbearable. Of course, she's like a sister to him (cliche cliche cliche) but, alas, he falls for her...but not before she seems to be falling for the boy she's known since she was a child. Love triangles, disastrous proms, insane step brothers, and a high school class system bent on maintaining the status quo and you've got yourself a teenage love story. **This story was written almost six years ago, when cliche romance novels and vampires made the world swoon.
