His Regret, Her Salvation
"I won't let anyone harm you..ever again." He promised, eyes filled with determination and possessiveness. Afterall, she is his...only his. "I know." She smiled kissing his cheek, her eyes filled with hope and happiness. ~~~ "I...I wi-ill protect you.." He pleaded, his voice cracking. He took a tentative step forward, but she recoiled, her body trembling with the weight of past pain. I was there
Her eyes seem to be possessed with something, as the sun's rays reflect off the glassy surface, ashamed to be in her presence. Inside, stars revolve deep inside the vast galaxy she has managed to create, and as I trudge deeper into the depths of unknown, time and reality seem to pause and bow before her. A tinge of rose-inflicted water swirls in her eyes and blurs my vision, but her aura is somehow sweet. Like candy, her addictive smile lure all who see her, and her layered personality is timid, shy, and delicate. But don't be fooled, once she warms up, she is chirpy, and cheerful. What does that description make you think of? An angel in a mortal's soul? A mere dream? I grew up with her, and she was the equivalent of something that even heaven couldn't conjure. But life is a deceiving creature. A lie. Because whilst her body portrays a perfect, shameless, care-free girl, her soul is slowly dying. When I realized that she'd be enrolling at Yuko High, my blood levels spiked. However, it turns out that the girl I thought I knew was long gone. People change, and nothing stays the same. And in that time, I've changed a bit myself. One thing I do know is that she isn't happy. But I happen to have just the solution for that...
The Clocker Family || Limited Life
This is a fic based in the 1970's era or somewhere around that. It is mainly based around the family of Clockers in Limited Life. Trying to combat the constantly counting down time. There will be 70's slang (That I might be using completely incorrectly, I wasn't alive back then), and technology from then. She was scared for herself, but when her clock got under a minute, her heart was going super fast. Then it ticked down, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. She closed her eyes, but still could hear the world around her. The clock ticking, the fax machine still ringing, the lights still buzzing. She opened her eyes and looked down at her wrist where the timer was, -0:20, -0:21, -0:22. Then she felt her heart stop, this was the moment. Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage. She had not even peacefully come out of her previous toxic marriage and she is pushing herself into the same hell again. But then fighting with her thoughts, she takes a deep breath and signs the marriage papers and a tear comes out of her eyes as she is not ready to face again all that she faced in her previous marriage. ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ " Never forget, the day you break even a single rule of this marriage, I will divorce you and after that you know the consequences." He says after signing their marriage papers And his heart feels heavy as he says these insensitive words to her because after getting her he cannot even think of divorcing her, Divorcing her, isn't even the last thing he would do but still he has no other option except putting this condition before her. Marriage first, then love
He did not love her. It was a loveless marriage to him. In his eyes, she is just a burden who cooks food for him. And in return, he will earn money and place it in her bank account. But she fell for him the moment she had laid eyes on him. It was love at first sight. She would lovingly cook him breakfast, but he would not even glance at her in the morning. In attempts to get him to glance at her, she fooled and embarrassed herself in front of him. She was close to giving up. A small part of her had hoped someday he would change the way he views her. Anna splashed the warm water on her face, running her hands over her wet skin in attempts to set herself straight. "It was just a thought" she told herself, just an odd thought. Why get do rattled? Her response was quick and a little annoyed, probably to keep from getting caught in a lie. The woman stood in the doorway to watch. Short blonde hair just reaching her shoulders, and a pair of cyan eyes looked back in the mirror with a much younger face. Disappearing just as soon as it had happened. "Aahah!" With a yelp Anna stepped back dropping the towel in the process, as sheer terror made it's way through her. Light, dark, weavers, Outcasts. It's all new to Anna, if that even is her name. After waking up with a blank slate of a mind, she has to not only relearn the ways of the world but also her own powers and what exactly it means to be "souless". The Order of Kismet, the goddess of fate, where is her place here? And is what they're doing truly right? Remembering is risky but it's the only chance she sees.
