My birth necklace is a crescent moon. When you are born you are given a unique necklace, not just any necklace. A soulmate necklace sadly it's only half of it. They increase in heat and flash a certain color when your other half is near. Many people believe this item is a great thing, I believe it's a curse. There are stories about people marrying other people who aren't their soulmate and the relationship worked out. There's also one about a woman soulmate being her best friend and the necklace never reacted until 19 years after they met. I hope that won't happen to me. So the necklaces have a mind of its own. Once I tried to get rid of mines so I threw it into a river, the next day it was back around my neck. I have one of the most complicated shapes. Think about it, I have a crescent moon..... A CRESCENT MOON, what's my other half. A star? The sun? A planet? A comet? The rest of the moon? I know I shouldn't worry about it's my last year of high school and still no sign of my soulmate.
