Her Connection

I looked at her from afar, how she went with the wave so easily; how she belonged to sea. If only she knew, the reason she loved the sea... was because she was a mermaid. I had to wait until she turned 18 though; her parents are scared of her finding out. She'll be the first of her, if she transforms. First human/mermaid; without using any sort of magic or position. So here I was, waiting for her...
