Essie Slater had always loved the musical Guys and Dolls, yet she'd never seen it on stage. Essie's always found herself comparing everyone around her to Sky Masterson. Who wouldn't? He's amazing.

A best friend of Lily Evans and a best friend of the Marauders, Essie goes through her seventh year at Hogwarts praying that luck decides to be a lady. What with N.E.W.T.s around the corner and trying to finally get Lily and James together with the help of the other Marauders, Essie needs luck to be at least a little bit of a lady.
