An unknown threat seeks to eliminate all life on earth, while seeking to take over the position of the Gods and rulers of this world.
They send the Immortal God of Death, The Grim Reaper Enma, to take care of the threat. Along with Reaper Raion from a realm far away, and the Angel Michael, they travel to earth under the disguise of high school students to investigate the source of the threat.
Along the way new and gifted people are met, and Enma finds someone to makes him realise that life is more precious than death.
