I'm different, I can read and see what people think. Every moment of everyday... it's not normal. I've been this way for too long. Ever since I saw my best friends dad die in front of my own two, once blue eyes. My now gold orbs, seeing the world for what it actually is. The car turned over and spun like a top, flipped from the road to the gorge. Krist held my hands tightly, all I saw was his face, blood was running down his hair and it turned his eyes red, I could hear Techna calling out my name but I couldn't open my mouth. We just walked through empty streets, stole dumb things no one would miss, sat in places we weren't supposed to be, and pretended we had all the time in the world. And maybe we did. Until we didn't.
