Nightmares, strange memories, shocking revelations, a death nopony would expect, a love of the same ilk, and much more.

Stone River never had love, born in raised in a small town and displaced by the ponies he swore to protect, he finds himself with no wife, no family, and no reason to try. The owner of a small apartment building in Ponyville finds a devastating unicorn at his doorstep, he takes a step in kindness he did not even know was there. He does not expect to find a friend in this mare but in the end? He finds so much more. This romance tells the tale of two ponies who find themselves with nothing but each other, secrets, and the secrets of an elite society dragging ponies into lives they never expected for themselves. Can these two jaded and hopeless ponies find true love in each other? Or are they meant to fall to the society that was built to topple them?Complete

Throughout the mane 7's junior year, they have made mistakes they regretted eminently and felt guilty about, made hard decisions and had to accept the truth about a lot of things even if it was hard for them. Especially Applejack and Rainbow Dash, who ended up having a separate problem with their friendship and struggled to figure out where each other's head was at.
