Addy Campbell, a 24 year old girl, is a princess in the ever growing castle of Palendoor. She has been the princess since she was born but as her mother, the queen, grows older she must take on the responsibility of the queen shortly after she dies.

A few months after being crowned queen, she finds herself in a war between her people of Palendoor and the people of the pastures.
Addy was only just starting to get the ropes of being a queen. How will she cope with war? Will she fight? Or flee? If she fights, will she survive? And if she flees, where will she go?
