hold on tight is about a fithteen year old girl named Alexis. Alexis's father was a soilder and after seven years in war Alexis and her mom get a letter from the army thinking that was it. she thought that her father was gone but luckily it was a letter saying that he got to come home what could be better.
He got home and Alexis could not belive her eyes her father had left with two arms and came back with one there were going to be some changes around the house. It was to much on her mom she fell in to a depression and locks her self in her bed room. Now Alexis has to help her father go to school and work just to keep her family together.
