Who truly has your best interest at heart?
"Where will you be in 5 to 10 years? Or Where do you hope you will be in 5 to 10 years?" Mrs. S asked the class. I naturally turned to Max and smiled and he smiled back. I didn't know exacatly where I would be in 5 to 10 years, but I knew I wanted it to incudle Max. Scratch that I knew it would include Max. But that question was so cliche for high school students especially us seniors. We just wanted to party and bullshit until college started. and then we would think about having to deal with the harsh reality of the real world. But who knew that in 5 years my life would be so different then what I pictured it. But that's life right?

I sat in the library. There was not a single person in sight. There was just complete, suffocating silence. Then the silence shattered when I heard loud footsteps. Each step got louder and louder. I looked up and saw . . . Max. He stood right before of me. His hair held in a slick quiff and his beautiful lips curved in a grin. My heart started to beat rapidly. I watched him hopelessly as he bent down, towards me, near me. His face inches away from me. I could feel his cold breath on my face. "You still love me, don't you?" He asked in his deep voice. The answer was yes, I did love him. . . but I can't tell him that. I don't want him to repeat all the things he did to me. I don't want him to make me cry for hours.
