In the quiet little town of Pulp, Louisiana, a sinister discovery shakes the population. 

Annabelle Vaccarella, daughter of an esteemed business owner, is found hundreds of miles from her home, dead, underneath a tree in the areas where Hurricane Katrina devastated the state. 

Even stranger is the affliction of her death: the blood in her body vanished, leaving a mummified corpse. 

Immediately an investigation is launched, bringing in the FBI, DEA, and regular Law Enforcement Agencies. A task force is crafted to implicate the murderer. And top notch agents are brought in to crack the startling mystery befallen the quiet town.
