Alisia Valerie Amberrits is no ordinary 16 year old girl, she is a witch. Alisia is forced to go to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry after her village gets destroyed by Voldemort's forces. Voldemort had learned of an ancient  prophecy that foretold of his destruction and new that if anyone knew it would be the end of him, so he ordered the village to be destroyed and the villagers killed. Alisia and only a handful of others survived. Most went to Durmstrang or Beaxbattons but Alisia wanted to be far away from those horrible memories. She goes to Hogwarts to start over and begin a new life. She befriends the golden trio and they are inseparable. But what happens when Dementors attack Hogwarts during a Quiddich game? What happens when a glowing wand appears in front of them? And what happens when they learn that they are part of the prophecy that Voldemort's forces destroyed Alisia's village to get to and that they are destined to destroy the evil that threatens all?
