"Dance with me!" I speak as I drag him off the couch by his arms. His sleepy figure follows along with me as I move to the side of my living room. "No let me sleep!" He cries out as he tries to fall back down on the couch. I pinch his arm and drag him back up. "Nope you're going to dance and your going to like it. Come on." I gesture him to follow me. I go to turn the volume up before going back to him. "Fine but you gotta give me kisses first." He answered with a smile on his pink lips. I roll my eyes but nevertheless lean up and peck his lips. One of the favourite lessons reading books has taught me is that you're never alone, not alteast in thoughts and words. There are others who think like you, feel like you and react like you. It's like that sometimes, our unspoken thoughts are the bridges that connect us, even though we might be miles apart. And so, I've written them down in the hope that there are many out there in this world who would be willing to walk these bridges leading to me-the real, raw and unhidden self I am- my heart and mind and soul.
