Meet Theodore Scott, senior. Total hot shot, easily the most popular guy at Smith High School, but not because he wants to be, quite the contrary. He's popular because he doesn't care about anything, least of all grades. He wants to become a car mechanic and the closest thing he can get is wood shop. That's where he meets her.
Now, meet Alison Baker, freshman. Despite her nerdy demeanor, she wants to be an architect. This leads her to work towards it everyday, thus achieving her goal of making it into senior wood shop even though she's only a freshman. Thats where she meets him.
Oh, and one more thing about Alison: she has OCD, which causes her to count when she's nervous.
Add them together, you'll get more cliche moments that anyone could ever need, plenty of bird houses, and a love that could stand though the strongest of storms. Well, except for maybe one...
