Devon Andrews has been recently diagnosed with cancer at the age of seventeen and has been chucked out of her home by her grandmother who thinks living in a care home is a good choice for Devon. All the kids bully Devon and with nobody to love her apart from her father who is all the way in Scotland, it seems like Devon will be left alone. It gets worse as the days go by but when she is enrolled in school, the words left alone might not be used to describe Devon after all.
