They told her that she'd been left at their gate. With just a suitcase of belongings and a note pinned to her dress. Five years later she still had the note and her trusted stuffed companion, Toby, who was a blue eyed, grey and white husky. He was all she had and he kept all of her secrets. Being abandoned as she was, she never spoke one word. Though the care workers had heard her talking softly to Toby. Being five years old with "issues" as the care workers described it to potential parents scared them away from adopting her. When adoption days came she'd hide in a corner with Toby in a tight ball as to not see the looks she'd be given. Though it was this day in June that this young girl would be given a chance.
