Stranger Who Saved Us

Emma Miller, her brother and sister are headed on a long journey from California to visit her grandparents house in Florida for the summer. They pretty much live in Alabama though considering the fact that part of their backyard is in Alabama. Emma has always found that cool. She's not so excited about going. I mean who wants to leave their home and friends for the summer? Something terrible happens on the way and she finds the "Stranger who saves them" very interesting.
