A fifteen year old girl has been homeschooled for her whole primary school life. At the beginning of year 7 she is thrust into a world that she has no idea about. For the past two years she has been struggling and fighting to stay above it all. But when her only friends leave her for one another she is suddenly all alone and thinking of committing suicide. But then her life takes a twist, giving her whatever she makes of it.

"My name is Katrina, call me Kat." Kat is a 16 year old 'It is what it is.' kind of girl, she has a lovely boyfriend, Daniel. She also has a few friends; Adelaide, Sammy, Ethan, & Christian. She has a few enemies; Grace & her plastic posse. She's the average teen, and her life SEEMS pretty normal, except she's in foster care because her parents were brutally murdered a year ago. Now she's having to start all over in a school halfway between two towns. Best thing is the school let them come on their own. Worst thing is it's a rival school. Fights break out between the jocks and the nerds to see who is better than the other. It's chaos everywhere you look. She doesn't want to be apart of it. It's just until senior year for them. They can last one school year with their rival school can't they?
